Shower Gift & Activity Run Sheet
Give gifts, games or activities, food service, photos, and guest-of-honor breaks a flexible run-of-show without overprogramming the shower. Fill in the top fields for “Start”, “End”, “Guest count”, and “Guest of honor”, then use the one-page timeline to work through the “Anchors”, “Support”, and “Flex Rule” blocks in order. Keep it beside the day-of plan so a delayed task can be moved, delegated, or dropped without rewriting the entire event.
Anchor the fixed times first
Fill in “Start”, “End”, “Guest count”, and “Guest of honor” before you assign tasks. Those anchors make it obvious which jobs can move and which ones cannot.
Move from Anchors to Support
The “Anchors” block covers “Arrival / mingle”, “Food window”, and “One optional activity”. Then use “Support” for “Photo moment”, “Bathroom / comfort break”, and “Dessert / coffee”. Keep recipe-specific times and temperatures unchanged even if the written schedule slips.
Use Flex Rule as the final control block
Before the event moves into its next phase, scan “Skip an activity if conversation is flowing”, “Do not delay food for a game”, and “Keep gifts optional”. Cross out optional work that no longer fits instead of creating a second last-minute plan.

What should I fill in first?
Start with the “Start” and “End” fields. Then move into “Anchors” so every later task is anchored to the event clock you are actually using.
What if the schedule slips?
Keep the fixed event time and any recipe-specific time or temperature intact. Move, delegate, simplify, or drop lower-value setup work instead of shortening food-safety or recipe steps.
Can I adapt this sheet to a different party format?
Yes. Replace the anchor times, cross out phases that do not apply, and keep recipe-specific timing separate. The sequence is a planning frame, not a fixed event script.
