Our point of view

We prefer plans that can survive a late guest, a crowded refrigerator, a small kitchen, and a host who wants to enjoy the evening too. We do not require showroom styling, matching serveware, or a large budget.

Who writes and edits the site

Articles use an organizational byline: The Hosting Desk Editorial Team. The profile explains the topics the team covers and, just as importantly, what the byline does not claim. We do not invent personal credentials or imply professional culinary expertise that has not been established.
