Grill-to-Table Handoff Plan

Use one row per grill batch to record start time, the recipe cue or finish requirement, the clean platter, rest or transfer step, and the person responsible for serving. The form keeps raw-food tools and platters out of the cooked-food handoff. Use a separate row for each batch when foods finish at different times, so the clean-platter and serving handoff is explicit every time.

Plan by batch

Write the actual food or batch and its start time rather than treating “grill everything” as one task.

Record the finish cue from the recipe

Use the recipe or appropriate safety guidance for doneness. The form does not supply a universal cook time.

Protect the clean handoff

Assign a clean platter and serving owner before the batch finishes so raw tools do not migrate to the guest table.

FAQ

Using this printable

Can the raw platter be reused for cooked food?

Use a clean platter for cooked food rather than carrying raw-food contamination into service.

What goes in “Rest / transfer”?

Write the real rest, transfer, or immediate service step appropriate for that food.

Why include an owner?

The grill cook can focus on cooking while someone else handles the clean platter, condiments, or guest-facing service.
